    Indoors Outdoors

Spending time outdoors is both fun and great for everybody, especially for kids. There are so many fun outdoor activities for kids, and when doing things together outside you will get fresh air and hopefully, some sun and vitamin D. Also, when you do outside activities they tend to be more active and you get the chance to move your body and get that exercise. Both dads and kids need to move more in general and why not spend meaningful time with the kids while getting that important exercise at the same time?

It is easy to fall into the same kind of activities such as playing in the same playground you've been loads of times or just play football all the time. Nothing wrong with that, the most important thing is that you spend actual time with your kids. Both you and your children will benefit from doing a more varied list of things, and it will be way more fun for everyone. If you have a forest nearby the possibilities are pretty much endless with different kinds of play you can do. But in the city, you can certainly find many great places where you can play together with your child.

The main thing is that you actually do spend meaningful time with your kids. It will create a stronger bond between you and your kids. Also, you will be and feel like a much better father. The long term benefits of spending real time with your kids as a dad are proven to be very important for the development of your child and your bond will have a strong foundation when going into slightly tougher periods while they get older. Just think of your own childhood, aren't many of your memories from outside activities? Playing with your dad outside is something your kids will remember for the rest of their lives.

We want to provide you with a great list of doings for you and your child and we are building a community for dads. We built this because we have the need for variation ourselves. And we encourage you to join us and help out by rating your favorite things to do with your kids. If your favorite activity isn't listed, please let us know and put it up on the list. We have great ambitions for the future and this is just the beginning helping dads spend more time with their kids. We connect, inspire and empower men to become better dads.
